Plaintiff, male (22) suffered burns to 75% of his body (3rd degree to legs, hands, stomach and neck; 2nd degree to his feet; 1st degree to other parts of his body), allegedly because the home he rented had an open flame heater installed less than 18 inches off the garage floor in violation of BOCA and ANSI standards.
